Yes. We offer free, no-obligation consultations, and follow-up estimates for most landscaping projects, unless formal CAD diagrams are required. After discussing your needs, we’ll provide a detailed quote outlining the scope of work, timeline, and cost.
Landscaping costs vary depending on the size of the property, materials used, and the complexity of the project. We realize most people can't be expected to know what they may add up to.
Small projects may start around a few thousand dollars, while full landscape redesigns can be over six figures at the extreme other end. We provide customized, detailed quotes broken down by task, based on your specific needs. We do not try up-sell on projects, but may suggest improvements when we think it will be beneficial to the client.
Project timelines depend on the scope of work. Smaller jobs such as mulching or planting may take less than a day, a patio installation a few days, while larger projects or full yard redesigns may take a few weeks.
Absolutely. We will consult with clients as required, to get to know what they are thinking about, flesh out their ideas, and realize a vision for their space. We welcome all feedback, and we adjust our design until every detail is to your liking and we have created a plan that will best suit your property and budget.

Many exterior projects have no need for permitting, but when required, we will take care of everything related to permits and compliance for projects like front yard parking pads, building permits, retaining walls, tree protection, and any required zoning variances. Our team has extensive experience navigating the permitting process in Toronto, and working with Transportation Services officials, to make sure your project is fully compliant with city bylaws.
We stand by our craftsmanship and offer a three-year warranty on our hardscape installations to cover any issues related to materials or workmanship. If there are specific concerns, we’re here to address them promptly. Some plants may not make it through the first year, but we will replace them promptly during this period, or first two years when plants have been purchased from a professional garden centre.
Hardscaping refers to non-plant or soil elements in landscaping, such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, and stone features.
Patio installation costs typically range from $4,000 to $10,000 depending on size, materials, and site preparation.
Popular patio materials include concrete manufactured pavers, and natural stone slabs. Durability varies greatly, and can depend on exposure to the elements in the case of manufactured stone especially. Both types of stone rarely crack, but it can happen when driven on especially.
The most durable type of patio would be natural stone embedded in mortar, sitting on a concrete base, also the most expensive of course.
Most patio installations take between 2 and 5 days depending on size, weather conditions, and site preparation. Natural stone embedded in mortar is the longest duration, and must be done in phases.
Permit requirements vary by location. Some larger retaining walls or structures may require permits from local authorities, especially if on city property, which generally extends about 30 feet from the centre of a secondary road.
